Can’t Find the Model You Need?

We build custom testing machines to your specifications. Tell us what you need to test and we will recommend the right solution.

Our catalogue organises more than eighty models into ten series so that you can move from a test method to a specific machine. Capacities run from 1 N to 3000 kN across electronic, hydraulic, impact, torsion and fatigue frames, hardness and metallographic instruments, and bolt, fastener, plastic, rubber and spring testers. Each series page lists the models, their capacity range and the standards they are built around.

Universal Testing Machines

Universal testing machines cover tensile, compression, bending and shear testing on metals, plastics, rubber, wire, fasteners and composites. Electronic (servo) frames are used for lower capacities and precise control, while hydraulic frames are used for high-capacity steel, rebar and structural specimens.

Hardness Testers

Hardness testing follows the indenter and the load. Brinell uses a ball indenter for soft and coarse-grained materials, Rockwell uses a diamond cone or ball on a 150 kgf major load, Vickers uses a pyramid indenter for a wide hardness range, and Leeb covers portable field measurements on large parts.

Impact Testing

Impact testing measures the energy absorbed when a notched specimen is broken. The standard Charpy specimen is 10 mm x 10 mm x 55 mm with a 2 mm deep V notch, and ISO 148-1 with ASTM E23 are the usual methods. Pendulum machines cover standard and low-temperature impact, and instrumented versions record the full force-displacement curve.

Fatigue Testing

Fatigue machines apply repeated loading until a specimen reaches a defined number of cycles or fails. Axial force controlled fatigue testing follows ASTM E466 and ISO 1099, and tests on servo-hydraulic and resonance machines are commonly run between 1 Hz and 100 Hz.

Torsion Testing

Torsion testers apply a turning moment to wire, fasteners or shafts and record torque versus angle. ISO 7800 and ISO 9649 cover simple and reverse torsion of metallic wire, GB/T 10128 covers room-temperature torsion of metals, and computerised frames give a full torque-angle curve.

Bolt & Fastener Testing

Fastener testing covers torque, clamp force and friction coefficient, as well as axial tensile and proof load. ISO 16047 and ASTM F606 are the usual references, and dedicated benches measure the torque-tension relationship of high-strength bolts.

Metallographic & Analysis

Metallography prepares and examines the internal structure of a specimen. A typical polishing sequence uses diamond suspensions from 9 µm down to 0.25 µm, finished with 0.05 µm colloidal silica, and hot mounting embeds the specimen in thermosetting resin at about 150-180 C under pressure. Analysis instruments then check alloy composition and internal defects.

Plastic & Rubber Testing

Plastic and rubber testing characterises how polymers behave under load and heat. Melt flow rate, heat deflection and Vicat softening, drop weight impact and hydrostatic pressure burst tests are the common methods for pipes, fittings and moulded parts.

Spring Testing

Spring testing covers load, fatigue and torsion of compression, extension and torsion springs. Mechanical and servo machines apply static and dynamic loading, and dedicated torsion spring testers measure the torque-angle relationship.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many models does CHENJI offer?
Our catalogue covers ten product series and more than eighty models, with capacities from 1 N to 3000 kN. The full range spans universal testing machines, hardness testers, impact, fatigue and torsion testers, bolt and fastener testers, metallographic and analysis instruments, plastic and rubber testers and spring testing machines.

Can you help me find the right model?
Yes. Tell us the material or sample to be tested, the test standard you follow, the required capacity and the quantity, and we will recommend the right machine and fixtures. If you are unsure about capacity, the UTM capacity selector narrows a universal testing machine to your specimen and standard.

Do you build custom or OEM testing machines?
Yes. Machines can be produced to OEM or ODM requirements when a customer drawing or specification is provided, and custom fixtures and control software are available. Send us your drawing or sample and we will confirm feasibility and lead time.

What capacity range do your universal testing machines cover?
Universal testing machine capacities commonly range from 5 kN to 3000 kN. Single-column frames are typically used from about 100 N to 5 kN, dual-column frames commonly cover 5 kN to 600 kN, and hydraulic frames are used above 600 kN.

Do you provide spare parts and after-sales support?
Yes. Spare parts, consumables and calibration support are available after delivery. Testing machines are normally supplied with a calibration certificate valid for 12 months and traceable to national force standards.
