YES-2000 Digital Display Pressure Testing Machine (2000 kN Compression Tester)
Impact & Pressure Testing

Overview
The YES-2000 is a digital display pressure testing machine with a maximum test force of 2000 kN. It is mainly used for the flexural strength test of concrete specimens and for the compressive strength test of building materials such as cement, concrete and red brick. The machine adopts hydraulic loading and electronic force measurement, so the load is applied smoothly and the result is read directly from a digital display.
Compression and flexural strength are the acceptance criteria for concrete and masonry, so the machine that measures them must be stable, easy to operate and repeatable. The YES-2000 provides digital load display, loading-rate display, maximum-load hold, overload protection and power-off data hold, which together make routine cube and prism testing simpler and more reliable.

Digital display and control functions
The machine has a load digital display, a loading-rate display and a maximum-load hold function, so the peak force of the test is captured automatically and does not have to be read from a dial at the instant of failure. Overload protection stops the machine before it can be damaged, and power-off data hold keeps the last result if the supply is interrupted. The relative error of force indication is within +/-1 %, and the usable force range is 4 % to 100 % of full scale, which follows the usual rule that a machine should be used above a minimum fraction of its capacity for an accurate reading.
Hydraulic loading for concrete and masonry
Hydraulic loading applies the compressive load smoothly and holds it without the jerk that a mechanical screw can produce, which matters for brittle specimens such as concrete cubes, cement prisms and bricks that fail suddenly. The stiff frame keeps deflection low so that the measured force is a true measure of the specimen and not of the machine. Upper and lower platens of the standard sizes are used for cube and prism compression and for flexural (bending) testing of concrete beams.
Applications
The YES-2000 is used by concrete batching plants, precast yards, cement and brick plants, ready-mix suppliers, construction quality-control laboratories, supervision and inspection bodies, and university civil-engineering laboratories. It covers the routine acceptance testing of concrete cubes and cylinders, cement mortar prisms and bricks, and the flexural testing of concrete beams. Full calibration is normally issued for 12 months and should be traceable to national force standards, so the machine is usually placed on a regular verification schedule.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the YES-2000 used for?
It is a 2000 kN hydraulic pressure testing machine used for the flexural strength test of concrete specimens and the compressive strength test of building materials such as cement, concrete and red brick.
How is the load measured and displayed?
The machine uses hydraulic loading with electronic force measurement. The load is shown on a digital display and the loading rate is displayed as well, with a maximum-load hold function that captures the peak value automatically.
What is the force range and accuracy of the YES-2000?
The usable force range is 4 % to 100 % of full scale (FS), and the relative error of force indication is within +/-1 %.
Does the YES-2000 protect the specimen and the machine?
Yes. Overload protection prevents damage to the machine, and power-off data hold keeps the last test result if the power is interrupted. The hydraulic loading gives a smooth, controlled application of force to brittle specimens.
Why does a compression machine need regular calibration?
Calibration certificates for testing machines are normally issued for 12 months and should be traceable to national force standards. Regular verification keeps the indicated force accurate, which is essential when the result is used for acceptance of concrete or masonry.

About CHENJI & Support
CHENJI is the brand of Jinan Chenji International Trade Co., Ltd. (Shandong, China), a manufacturer and exporter of material testing machines since 2014, with in-house quality control plus third-party inspection by SGS or Bureau Veritas. The company holds ISO 9001 certification (626024QH073R1) and is a Bureau Veritas audited supplier (MIC-ASR2451820). Testing machines are normally supplied with a calibration certificate valid for 12 months and traceable to national force standards, and our engineers help you select the machine, fixtures and accessories for your specimen and method.
Every quotation is prepared against the standard you test to, so the delivered machine matches the test method rather than only the headline capacity. Spare parts, consumables and calibration support are available after delivery, and machines can be produced to OEM or ODM requirements when a customer drawing or specification is provided.
Selecting and Verifying a Testing Machine
Choosing a machine is a matter of matching capacity to the specimen and the method, not of buying the largest frame. A 1000 kN machine is not suitable for a sample that needs 1 N of force; capacity selection follows the specimen and the standard, and the force measuring system should be verified per ISO 7500-1 or ASTM E4 on a regular schedule. Load cells are commonly supplied as class 0.5 or class 1, which means the indicated force stays within ±0.5% or ±1% of the true force.
Test results are only comparable when they are quoted together with the standard, the specimen geometry, the test speed and the force measurement class. We are glad to review your test method and specimen so that the machine, fixtures and accessories are correctly specified before you order.
